The internet connected the world, giving rise to diverse cultures and change across mountains, seas, and borders. Yet now people are moving their activity into more closed, private places — at the edge of a world they can travel anywhere in, they have begun to build small villages. I find this change agreeable, and yet a little strange; at the same time, it feels natural. Have people connected too much? Are there too many of them? Or does it only seem that way?
